Team Frank was created in May 2002 in honor of Frank Joseph Doyle. Frank was just 39 years old when he perished in the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11/2001.

Frank left behind his wife Kimmy Chedel and his two children Zoë (2) and Garrett (1).
Frank was a SVP, risk arbitrage trader, and board member for Keefe Bruyette and Woods as well as an accomplished athlete.
CREATION OF TEAM FRANK
Since 9/11, over 200 members of TEAM FRANK (family and friends) have participated in athletic events and challenges all over the world.​​

CREATION OF TEAM FRANK AFRICA
In September of 2017, TEAM FRANK AFRICA became a registered Canadian Not-for-profit Corporation. In 2022, Team Frank Africa became a registered Canadian charity.
In January of 2021, Team Frank Africa USA Inc became a registered 501(c)(3) charity in the state of Massachusetts.
In 2022, Team Frank South Africa became a registered charity in South Africa.
