Kimmy was born and raised in Ste. Marguerite Station, Quebec, Canada. She is a citizen of Canada, the United States and Switzerland. Graduated from Middlebury College in 1987 with a BA in Economics and was a member of their NCAA Division 1 Alpine Ski team.
Kimmy moved to New York City to pursue a career in finance, and became a VP in Fixed Income Emerging Market Sales from 1988 to 1999 (Salomon Brothers, HSBC Securities and Chase Manhattan Bank). Her career allowed her to travel frequently to Central and Latin America, Europe as well as Morocco, Turkey and South Africa.
In 1988, Kimmy met Frank Doyle who worked as an equity trader for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. In 2002, she created Team Frank to honor her late husband, Frank, who was killed by terrorists on September 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center. Team Frank honors Frank’s legacy as a passionate athlete, and keeps his spirit alive for her and their two children, Zoë and Garrett. In 2013, Kimmy and her children began traveling to Costa Rica, South Africa, Rwanda and Kenya. They donated school supplies, food, children’s clothing and toys.
Satu was also born and raised in Ste. Marguerite Station, Quebec, Canada. She is a Canadian citizen who graduated from Concordia University in 1991 with a BA in Commerce and Administration.
Satu initially pursued a career in import/export that allowed her to travel extensively throughout Europe and North America. Satu settled in Montreal and also has over 25 years of accounting experience.
Satu has been a member of Team Frank for many years. In September 2017, Satu and Kimmy, childhood friends, fulfilled a dream to work together and help others. With this passion, they created Team Frank Africa, a Canadian Not-for-profit Corporation.

Zoë was born in New York City and moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada when she was 3 years old. She is a citizen of Canada, the United States and Switzerland. Zoë graduated from Lower Canada College in 2016, Pre-University 2017, and is currently a sophomore at Elon University in North Carolina. She is majoring in Film Production and International Studies.
Zoë’s passions include philanthropic filmmaking and photography. She has traveled to South Africa several times, as well as, Kenya, Rwanda and Costa Rica where she has volunteered her time and produced numerous videos.
Zoë has been competing for Team Frank for as long as she can remember (½ marathon, 5K road races, sprint triathlons, Mud Hero, Summit Table Mountain and trek gorilla’s in Rwanda) and has played competitive ice hockey for the past 6 years.
